Our Sex Life Has Flumped - Article Planning Sheet

Planning Comments
article genre
(purpose, type)
My third article is called ‘Our sex life has flumped’ this article is about women feeling much more confident about their bodies, and how one body shape that is seen in the media is not necessarily the most attractive body shape to everyone.
Narrative voice
(1st, 2nd or 3rd person)
Once again I will be using the 3rd narrative voice, it’s quite chatty, and when talking about body shapes and things like that it’s important that the readers feel involved and inspired by what you are saying. 3rd person is the best narrative voice to use for this.
Register
(informal/formal, colloquial, dialect, taboo words?)
I would like it as I said to be quite chatty, so informal. We don’t want the readers to feel uncomfortable when reading the article. I don’t think any taboo will be included.
Stylistics
(repetition, strong verbs, adjectives, alliteration, similes, metaphors, sentencing, rhythm)
I will definitely be including some strong verbs and adjectives, I will be describing body shapes etc. once again I would like the article to flow and have a good rhythm to it.
Tone of address
(hectoring, sarcastic, ‘matey’, ironic, etc)
I would like it to be very chatty and easy to get involved in, but not with any sarcasm.
Structure and pace
(discourse structure, logical paragraphing, connectives, conclusion)
1000 words is about the size I want my article, this makes it not too long and will keep the readers interested. I will start by explaining some main facts about sex life and then begin to talk about body shapes etc. I don’t want my paragraphs to be too chunky.
