Can't Handle The Stress - Article Planning Sheet

Planning Comments
article genre
(purpose, type)
My second article is called ‘Can’t handle the stress?’ this article talks about ways in which you can deal with stress, teenagers go through a lot of stress because of exams and A levels and just in general being a teenager. This article is inspirational.
Narrative voice
(1st, 2nd or 3rd person)
Once again I will be using 3rd person, it’s quite chatty and will interest the readers straight away. I could also be mixing the narrative voices throughout the article, depending on whether I feel the need to voice my opinion.
Register
(informal/formal, colloquial, dialect, taboo words?)
Its going to be quite informal, I want it to be comfortable to read and not too full of facts otherwise it’ll get to boring. In some areas I may use some taboo.
Stylistics
(repetition, strong verbs, adjectives, alliteration, similes, metaphors, sentencing, rhythm)
I want it to be very upbeat and interesting; metaphors may be included to make the sentences sound much more descriptive.
Tone of address
(hectoring, sarcastic, ‘matey’, ironic, etc)
I want my article to be quite friendly and chatty; I don’t want to include sarcasm or anything such as that. I still want it to be serious as stress can be a serious subject, people can become quite ill due to it. Cosmopolitan can be funny but serious at the same time.
Structure and pace
(discourse structure, logical paragraphing, connectives, conclusion)
I don’t want to article to be too long, a thousand words is more than enough, I want to write it so all the main facts are included and not just a load of irrelevant information. Not too many long chunky paragraphs.
