Project Monitoring - 8th February

This week I have started my 2nd DPS, which is for the article 'A Touch Of Class'. This week i should be up to the stage of completing 2 DPS's and my front cover. At the moment i have only just started 2 of the DPS's, i have only added the back ground images in so far, it has been difficult trying to edit the images in particular. Especially the images for my 'A Touch Of Class' article. This is because the image is object based and trying to edit the background out of the image can be very difficult.

As you can see, the image before I started editing had alot of shadows in the background which can be difficult to cover, also the bottom corner of the image has some of the flooring from the photoshoot in there. To remove the shadows from the background I had to use the dodge tool

Project Monitoring - 21st January

This week I should have finished my first two articles, i have sucessfully finished the first article 'Cant handle the stress?'. But I have only done half of my 'A touch of class' article. I am finding this process of writing the article very difficult as I not entirely sure what to include in the article that would explain Marilyn Monroes life but would also show how she has influenced other people from the past and in the future. I have given myself a very difficult topic to write an article on and i fear it will not reach the standard that I  wanted it too. I should have already started my third article. ' Our sex life has flumped' Ive done some research for it but i think i need to look for more, before i start the process of writing it. I am quite disappointed about how long it is taking me to write these articles, i thought the process was going to be alot smoother and i would be much more prepared when it came to the actual writing of the articles.

I will dedicate the last lesson of this week to work out how much I need to do for the articles and hopefully I will have finished my first two articles completely by next week for when I start the actual creation of my project on photoshop and indesign. This week in my spare time I needed to find some models for my photoshoots, this is proving difficult as the models which I would like do not have any free time to be able to attend the specific times of my photoshoots

Project Monitoring - 1st February

According to my schedule, this week I should of completed my photo shoots, which then help me to start developing my project creatively. which I have now completed. I now have the images to start my DPS's and front cover. This week, I should of also started my front cover, but because i was behind in writing my articles i had to finish my 'Cant Handle The Stress' article in that lesson. Which means I also havent found a mast head just yet.
